Voor onze opdrachtgever zijn wij op zoek naar een Kenan Designer / Developer (Referentie 201022196)
Doel van de functie
De Kenan designer /developer is primair verantwoordelijk voor het (onder regie) ontwerpen en realiseren van applicaties ter ondersteuning van de bedrijfsprocessen, op basis van de bedrijfsdoelstellingen, kennis van de bedrijfsprocessen, wensen en behoeften van de business en relevante ICT ontwikkelingen.
Rapportagestructuur
De Kenan designer /developer rapporteert aan de Manager IT Design & Development.
Belangrijkste resultaatgebieden
- Develop, maintain, and support applications for the Kenan Billing system.
- Develop, maintain, and support existing Kenan related applications using Perl, Toad and develop new applications using Java, SQL.
- Develop, maintain, and support Kenan batch applications using Perl, C, SQL, XML, Java, and Shell scripting in a Sun Solaris environment.
- Debug production issues. Interact with users to understand underlying problems, recommend and implement corrections, suggest best practices
- Adhere to IT standards for trouble ticket handling and software lifecycle development
- Document requirements, design, issues, operational procedures, user manuals
- Interact with vendors as necessary
- Contribute as part of project teams delivering large scale solutions ?Adhere to IT security and Corporate Security policies
- Provide periodic status reports to Lead Developer and Senior Technical Manager
- Analyze and evaluate the technical requirements specific to business areas or problems.
- Take a lead role in end user contact; determines required solutions in conjunction with end users and other team members.
- Define and implement the SQL objects used within these solutions.
- Lead or assist in all areas of the software development life cycle, including business requirements gathering and testing developed solutions.
- Develop code, maintain data structures, and create documentation.
- Contribute to the architectural design of business solutions
- Ensure that development projects integrate well into the environment
- Provide ongoing customer support by providing proactive monitoring and system related problem resolution, business recovery, system cycle time reductions and enhancements, and general question responses
De functie Kenan designer /developer heeft de volgende eisen:
- Bachelor degree in Information Systems/Computer Science or equivalent
- Experience in Kenan FX (Kenan Arbor/BP) billing systems
- 5+ years of development and support experience, preferably financial, billing or payment applications
- 3+ years of development or configuration experience in Kenan (Arbor/BP) billing system. Familiar in the configuration of rating, invoicing, journals, etc.
- 3+ years experience with running and troubleshooting the operational processes within Kenan (Arbor/BP) billing system. Including invoicing, journals, batch payments, collections.
- Experience with Kenan FX API development is big plus
- Good knowledge of Oracle database and scripting, PL/SQL
- Strong communication, problem analysis/resolution skills
- Strong customer/business orientation
- Strong time management and be able to work on concurrent assignments with different priorities
- UNIX development experience
