Project Overview: I am looking for a certified structural engineer (constructeur) to provide a quick "second opinion" and technical confirmation for a minor modification in my house (built in the 1980s, located in Almere).
I need to route a new heating pipe across the floor and plan to mill a channel (sleuf) into the top floor layer.
The Situation: I have all the original structural blueprints (constructietekeningen) available in clear PDF format. Based on my amateur reading, the floor seems to consist of a 170mm structural slab (Flevovloer) topped with a ~30mm finishing screed (afwerkvloer).
However, I need a professional to verify these numbers and ensure structural safety.
Your Tasks:
Review the specific floor construction details in the provided original blueprints.
Confirm the exact thickness of the finishing screed vs. the structural concrete slab.
Determine if it is structurally safe to mill a channel up to 25mm deep into the top layer without hitting any reinforcement (wapening).
State the absolute maximum safe milling depth allowed in this specific floor.
Provide a brief written summary/confirmation of your findings.
Requirements:
Must be able to read and interpret original Dutch structural drawings (constructietekeningen) from the 1980s.
Knowledge of Dutch building standards (Eurocode/Bouwbesluit) is preferred.
English communication is preferred, but Dutch is also fine if the final summary is clear.
Budget & Timeline: This is a small, document-review task. Please provide a fixed price quote for this assessment. I have the PDFs ready to share immediately.
