Quality Manager - QA/QM

An interesting project in an international environment  as a Quality Manager - closely work with the project managers and report directly and regularly to the Project board.
 
Main Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the definition of office wide quality standards and procedures
• Contribute to the further development of the Quality Management System, recommend process improvements
• Give advice on project management, quality management, risk management, configuration management and process improvement.
• Foster the understanding of quality management methods, explain and support the practical application of QM - Methods
• Assure compliance with office wide quality standards and procedures and that the project methodology is followed correctly.
• Coordinate the review and verification of all product deliverables and the associated documentation
• Conduct and align quality assurance management activities in accordance with Prince 2 standard products and processes within the project life cycle.
• Conduct and align quality assurance management activities within the appropriate Software Development Life cycle method. (e.g. Waterfall or Agile (SCRUM))
• Conduct and align quality assurance management activities throughout Test and implementation phases.
• Monitor the structural progress made and report the quality status to the Project Board on a regular basis

 
Technical skills

• Very good Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and related quality standards (such as ISO 9000 series).
• Excellent knowledge of the project management methodology's, such as PRINCE2 and MSP
• Excellent knowledge of software development methodology's,
• Working knowledge of related industry quality standards (ISO, IEEE, ISTQB (ISEB)), ideally with qualifications.

 
Specific experience

• Test management tools like HP Quality Centre
• Automation tools like HP Quicktest Professional and HP Load Runner
• Project planning tools like MS Project
• Configuration Management and Version Control

 
  
General requirements:
Basic knowledge of the following areas or the ability to acquire it efficiently and on short notice:

• Web Technology: (e.g. HTML, XML, XSLT, Web services)
• Server Technology : (e.g. JBOSS, IBM WebSphere, Tomcat)
• Database Servers: (e.g. DB2, Firebird)
• Operating Systems: (e.g. Windows 2000 / XP / Vista, Unix (AIX, Linux (SLES 10))
• Public Key Infrastructures: (e.g. SSL, PKCS)
• Familiar with enterprise desktop applications: IBM Lotus Notes, MS Office
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Experience in technical documentation creation.
