Over Lauren
Hi I’m Lauren, I’m an Illustrator and Designer from South Africa, but I now live in the Netherlands. I have a background in graphic design having spent the last 4 years working as a freelance designer. During my time as a freelancer I fell in love with UX design and illustration, choosing to move to a more UX/UI and illustration focused roles. I believe that UX has the power to bridge the gap between different design fields and business goals.
My personal design philosophy is that UX principles have a much broader application than just UX, and I always aim to design functional designs even when designing for things outside of a UX context like for example illustration, or brand design.
