Marketing Consultant
We are operating in an increasingly competitive market place and seek to hire a freelance marketing specialist, who will also be responsible for communications and public relations, reporting directly to Management.
Assignment
The Marketing Consultant will develop, implement and measure the success of a comprehensive marketing programme for us, reinforce the Institute’s desired image and position, and define/create (new) market opportunities. The terms and duration of the assignment will be decided in consultation.
More specifically, we expect him/her to:

set up and execute an efficient marketing plan (not theoretical, but a pragmatic approach);

regard corporate branding as one of the priorities;
-
enhance sales through marketing activities;
-
look for opportunities and designate events in which we should participate; represent us at events;
-
take care of communications;
-
tailor the promotion of our products to meet the needs of our clients (how to appeal to our clients);
-
direct the staff involved;
-
perform other related tasks.
Profile
A Master degree (marketing, public relations, etc.) and proven successful experience relevant to the assignment. Ideally, the Marketing Consultant possesses the following professional and personal skills:

demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in the design and execution of marketing, communicationsand public relations, including internet and social media marketing;

some experience of writing press releases, creating presentations and negotiating with media;

working experience in an international environment;
-
excellent oral and written communications skills;
-
strong creative, strategic, analytical, organisational and personal sales skills;
-
excellent command of English; second language will be regarded as an asset.
