Senior Billable Consultant – Unified Communications & Collaboration
Purpose of role:
Customer-facing senior or expert billable consultant to sell and deliver consultancy in the area of Unified Communications & Collaboration.
The senior billable consultant works with clients to develop quality communications solutions in order to solve / address a client’s business requirements. The process starts with the collection and analysis of all pertinent data essential to understanding a client’s requirements; the assessment. The role is that of client advocate and takes responsibility for solution development and design inclusive of the underlying technical architecture, service level agreements, overall solution costing, delivery planning and representation of that solution as required. Client facing activities such as presentations and negotiation in conjunction with the account manager is expected.
Candidates with a proven track record of successful development and delivery of IT consultancy projects within the European Union Institutions and/or NATO are preferred.

Job Description & overview:
The Senior UCC Consultant must have a background in IP based communications, strategic planning, business case development, vendor evaluation and selection and implementation planning/oversight. A thorough understanding of at least two of the following technology supplier UCC platforms is required with industry certifications: Microsoft, Cisco, Alcatel-Lucent, Avaya. Knowledge and experience with the SIP protocol for integration between various platforms is highly preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required to support presenting recommendations and strategies to CxO levels.
The Senior UCC Consultant is a strong strategic and technology specialist who can provide our clients assistance from strategic planning to implementation oversight within the breadth of UCC technologies. We consider UCC technologies to include: voice, unified messaging, voice mail, audio conferencing, e-mail, Instant messaging, video conferencing, web conferencing and presence. The solutions could be premise based, hosted or cloud based services.
Knowledge of the different solutions providers would be highly desired. We work with multinational organizations in highly complex global deployments.
This is a temporary project for one year.
